In the evening my dad
came home with his friend, Mr Li, Chinese photographer.
He brought his own photographs and asked my dad to
print them out. It took them a while.
My mum said: “I’m
going to cook dinner – keema curry with apple salad. Why don’t you join us?”
While cooking, she was
amazed by one of his photographs as my dad taped it on the wall of the kitchen.
“Oh my goodness! I
like this one very much, Li-san. It looks like a painting – absolutely
amazing!”
'Well, lighting is perfect
for the photo, but a bit oily there,' I murmured to myself.
They all enjoyed dinner while seeing the photo on the kitchen wall. Oh, dear, dear!
