Yesterday, Sai-chan
came over.
My mum was setting the
table.
“Mum, who’s coming
today?”
“Sai-chan, who visited
us in London a long time ago.”
“Mmmm, have I met her?
I can’t remember.”
“I’m not sure,” replied my mum.
Sai-chan appeared at
the entrance, and said: “Hell, Pinot!”
I walked towards her
to greet.
She reached down and
stroked me nicely.
‘Mmmm, I love being
stroked. Thank you, Sai-chan,’ I murmured.
To make more friendly
physical contact with her, I started by pressing against her with the top of my
head. I looked up and then repeated the process, pushing the side of my face
against her hand. My greeting ritual completed and I sat down on the staircase. I behaved myself.
– A couple of hours
later.
‘Oh, dear! Ah, she’s
been talking with my mum for ages, no time to play with me,’ I murmured to
myself.
Sai-chan left in the
evening.
I hope she’ll come and
visit ME next time, not visit my mum.
