Sitting in the sun

“What a lovely day today!”
“It is, isn’t it? I’m sitting in the sun, beautiful sunshine, Mum.”
“I know, Sweetie!”
I had a narrow escape from death, and now I’m enjoying this treat from God.
Thank goodness!

Now I can manage to jump onto my mum’s lap. To tell you the truth, the other day, even on her new student’s lap.

The new student was annoyed, so she took me up in her arms and handed me over to my mum at once.

“Sorry! Um, well, listen, Pinot! I know you’re in good shape now, but um . . . it’s all right as long as you jump onto my lap, but not on somebody else studying. Please don’t let it happen again! Don’t disturb them!” said my mum.
“Uh-hum, I won’t,” I said.
I just wanted to say 'Welcome to Anchovy School' to her, really.
'Next time, I’ll jump onto her old student’s lap instead,' I murmured to myself.

“It might snow tomorrow,” my mum said and went on: “Oh, dear! Tomorrow!? Monday? We’re supposed to take you to hospital on Monday. Oh, no, not in the snow. What shall we do!?”
“Hmmmmm…” (with a big grin)
